Providing a full interior design service for a new build £14m Children and Adolescent Mental Health Service (CAMHS) unit our design associates Sam and Will Boex led this project to deliver a sensitive and considered scheme where safety and practicality are paramount.
Using unique co-design sessions with the very young people who benefit from the the design of the building with the aim to de-stigmatise mental health services.
Using a palette of bright but gender neutral colours, and modern infection-safe upholstery and finishes, spaces retain an informal feel where young people can relax and staff are able to provide the best support.
